Overview

Bizdata is an innovative AI-powered platform that helps entrepreneurs, small business owners, and consultants assess the feasibility of opening a new business and build personalized business plans – using real-time data from governmental and administrative sources.
This is a first-of-its-kind solution in Israel, designed to make complex, scattered data accessible, understandable, and actionable for users with varying levels of digital and financial literacy.

The Problem

When aspiring entrepreneurs in Israel try to decide whether an idea is worth pursuing, they are forced to navigate dozens of fragmented government systems, complex terminology, and spreadsheets they don’t know how to interpret.

Research Insights

Users from Generation Y and Generation Z took at least 3 courses on at least 2 platforms in the past two years.

Most users who enroll to online courses do not necessarily finish them all

People take online courses as part of training at work, for personal and professional development, and enrichment

The Solution

Bizdata combines an AI engine with verified public datasets to generate personalized business insights, financial projections, and location-based recommendations – all in an intuitive, step-by-step flow.

Making fragmented, heavy data understandable for non-experts

The Process

1. User Understanding & Problem Definition

I collaborated with the product manager and developers to define user personas, identify pain points, and map out the decision-making journey of aspiring business owners.
We focused especially on accessibility for non-experts.

2. Designing for Guided Discovery

I designed a guided user flow that feels like a conversation – asking the right questions at the right time, while letting the AI generate smart insights in the background.

3. UI: Making the Complex Feel Simple

I created a clean, calm interface using subtle visual hierarchy, context-aware microcopy, and iconography to support comprehension without overwhelming.
Data visualizations were designed to be interactive and readable, even on mobile.

4. Responsive, Accessible Design

Mobile usability was a top priority. I restructured screens for small devices without compromising functionality or clarity, ensuring business planning is just as effective on-the-go.

The Outcome

Bizdata launched successfully and is already being used by public agencies, consultants, and entrepreneurs. The platform received enthusiastic feedback for:
  • Its intuitive, conversational UX
  • AI-powered, actionable insights
  • Friendly language and clarity
  • Enabling smarter decisions with real data

What You Don’t See on the Surface

  • Integration of dozens of complex, structured and unstructured data sources
  • Real-time, AI-generated recommendations
  • UX designed for trust, clarity, and empowerment – even when the data is complex
  • A close collaboration with developers to implement algorithmically generated content into a smooth interface

User Flow

Once we understood the user stories and the necessary functionality, I started with a simple user flow
